Smokey Robinson

This part will be about Smokey Robinson, this I do remember. I read Berry Gordy's book in November 2009 and Smokey was mentioned a lot in the book about the great songs he had so I thought I needed to check that out.

History of Smokey Robinson

Smokey is an American R&B singer. He was one of the original Motown members. He started out with the group The Miracles.

The Miracles released their debut album in 1961 named 'Hi... We're The Miracles'.

Their next CD was named 'Cookin' with The Miracles' also in 1961.

In 1962 they released 'I'll Try Something New'.

In 1963 they 4 CD's. They released theyre first christmas CD named 'Christmas with The Miracles'. 'The Fabulous Miracles', 'The Miracles Recored Live on Stage' was their first live CD and 'The Miracles Doin' Mickey's Monkey'.

'I Like It Like That' was released in 1964.

'Greatest Hits from the Beginning' was released in 1965 and featured their greatest hits. They also released 'Going to a Go-Go'.

In 1966 they released 'Away We a Go-GO'. This CD came out under the name of Smokey Robinson and The Miracles. Which continued to be their name from then on.

'Make It Happen' was released in 1967.

In 1968 they released 'Greatest Hits, Vol. 2'.
